McGulpin Point Lighthouse as it appeared in a US Coast guard photograph dated August 1935. While the lighthouse was sold into private hands in 1913, it sat virtually unused until it was resold in 1936 and used as a summer cottage. USCG Archives. Back to the edition of: May 2009
