Lee Scherwitz, Tim Harrison of Lighthouse Digest, Lorraine Parris in period costume and Marv Theut, co-founder of the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival. Scherwitz, an original volunteer of the Great Lakes Festival is also on the festival's Board of Directors. Sherwitz, an airport manager, is currently researching the history of the Airways Division of the United States Lighthouse Service. For many years Lorraine Parris, a fixture at the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival, and her late husband George lived at the Old Presque Isle Lighthouse. The lighthouse is now reportedly haunted by George.
