The 4th order lens from North Head Lighthouse in Washington State. North Head Lighthouse was built in 1898 to help guide ships entering the Columbia River. This 4th order Fresnel-style lens weighing about 600-pounds was used in the lighthouse from 1937 to 1950. Back to the edition of: May/Jun 2017
