Volunteer Kenny Ginn demonstrates rope-making techniques most weekends at the museum. There are additional classes offered throughout the year by the Barbey Maritime Center for a fee. Course subjects are wooden boat-building and traditional maritime crafts that draw from both Western and Native American maritime cultures which all ages and interest levels can enjoy.
