A sobering view of the destroyed cast iron railing that looked like it was ready to topple over the cliff edge to join those missing sections that already had succumbed. One of the 60 pound boulders that did the damage sits innocently by, while a lone pulley left from the derrick assembly is a grim reminder of what forces were unleashed at the height of the cyclone on the night of the 21st of October, 1934.
