The 1878 Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse in New Castle, New Hampshire. Leander White served here as the keeper from 1909 to 1915, followed by Henry M. Cuskley, who served as the keeper from 1915 to 1941. Interestingly, Leander White’s son, Arnold B. White, was the lighthouse keeper here from 1942 to 1946. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
