Pictured are Lars F. Amundsen (b. 1853) and his niece Marie Amundsen. Lars began service at Cape Arago with Oscar Langlois in 1905. Prior to serving at Cape Arago, Lars was at Tillamook Rock Light for seven years. Unfortunately, Lars passed away from stomach cancer in 1909, ending his career after 11 years.
