One of the two photos captioned in the albums was this wedding portrait of Ann Thomas with the words “Aug 3, 1909 wedding day” scrawled across the top edge. Washington State marriage documents confirmed that Ann Thomas was married on Burrows Island on this date, which helped pinpoint her as the albums’ owner. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2020
