This was the 27th U.S. Lighthouse Service grave marker installed by the Chesapeake Chapter of the U.S. Lighthouse Society. Lorenzo Dow Evans (1831-1917), served at the 1st and 2nd Solomons Lump lighthouses and the Holland Island Bar Lighthouse, both in Maryland. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2021
