Historical image of the 1910 White Shoal Lighthouse, west of the Straits of Mackinac in Lake Michigan, where George Keller served from 1922 to 1946. In 1954, the lighthouse was painted with red and white spiral stripes. Today the lighthouse is privately owned and cared for by the White Shoal Light Historical Preservation Society.
