In 1992, Jamie Wyeth painted Orca Bates standing on the lantern deck of Tenants Harbor Light in Light Station. Since there hasn’t been a Fresnel lens in the tower since the early 1930s, Jamie had to imagine what it would have looked like. The original lens was only a 4th order in size. (© Jamie Wyeth/ARS)
