Three sets of lighthouse keepers’ children from Boston Harbor Light and Minot’s Ledge Light in Massachusetts are featured in this December 24, 1903 Boston Globe illustration. Minot’s head keeper Milton H. Reamy’s daughters, Ethel and Evelyn; Boston 1st assistant keeper George E. Kezer’s two sons, Harlan and Thatcher; and Boston 2nd assistant keeper Levi B. Clark’s children, Lyman and Sarah, all lived in the dwellings associated with these two lighthouses as they awaited Santa’s visit that year. (Lighthouse Digest archives)
