Another son of Milton H. Reamy, George M. Reamy, tried lighthouse service for only one year at Deer Island Light as a 1st assistant from 1905 – 1906. Apparently, it wasn’t for him, and he moved to Plymouth to take up farming for the rest of his working life. His father, Capt. Reamy, moved in with him there after his retirement from lighthouse service in 1919 until his death in 1925. (Courtesy Wayne E. Held) Back to the edition of: Nov/Dec 2022
