Rasmus reported that the seas frequently washed over the top of the lighthouse in the wintertime as is clearly shown in this 2010 photo. Sometimes, the ocean would throw up large, heavy rocks that broke the lantern’s storm panes or pierced through the lighthouse roof. Back to the edition of: Mar/Apr 2023
