The 125 year old Cape Beale Lightstation is now the oldest manned lighthouse station in British Columbia, Canada due to the automation of other older lightstations. The fact that the station is still manned is credit largely in part to public outcry that stopped the station from being automated. Back to the edition of: February 2000
