The black-and-white photo of the “Vacationland 1946” lighthouse facsimile that we published in the July/August 2022 edition of Lighthouse Digest. We now know that this structure is located in Sandusky, Ohio. Surprising to us is that no one else in Ohio, or even anyone from Sandusky, contacted us about where this lighthouse facsimile is located, especially since Sandusky is home to the famous Marblehead Lighthouse, one of the most visited and photographed lighthouses on the Great Lakes.
