Our cover image is North Carolina’s Bodie Island Lighthouse on the Outer Banks, at the northern end of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The keepers’ duplex serves as a ranger office and visitor center for Cape Hatteras National Seashore. It is still an active aid to navigation and the tower is open seasonally.
