At first glance, these homes may give the appearance of a rural subdivision. But at Tree Point Light Station, they were far from civilization. Everything was neat and pristine when these photos were taken in 1950 when Harold and Betty Geck lived there with their children. Only one of these homes still stands today, but it is in a state of deterioration.
