The Norton house and ‘barn.’ Only the foundation(s) remain today. This photo is only half of the house. After Norton’s mother died, his wife and his sister had major disputes as to which woman would run the house. Unable to settle the conflict, Norton cut the house in half and moved one half to a location further up the field from the remaining half. (Photo courtesy Dave Gamage.)
