The area between the Browns Point Lighthouse and keeper’s house was called a lagoon by keeper Oscar Brown. Often times, he had to row to the lighthouse. After being filled multiple times, the area still floods after heavy rains as is shown in this recent photo, but nowadays the water dissipates after a few days. Back to the edition of: Mar/Apr 2013
