Typical seasonal weather provided its challenges as winds ripped the wrap around the lighthouse, which subsequently had to be repaired or replaced. Weather has always been a challenge to Yaquina Head Lighthouse. In 1871 weather conditions often caused delays in the construction of the lighthouse. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2015
