We were able to catch this quick shot of Chris Mills, (a former Canadian lighthouse keeper and author of the book Vanishing Lights) as he descended the stairway from the top of the tower at Port Medway Lighthouse. Chris gave a very warm and informative talk/slide presentation on his interest in lighthouses from childhood years to becoming a real life lighthouse keeper. We can only hope that we can convince him to come to the States to give that presentation to “beacon buffs” here.
