The Texas Oil Co, more commonly known as Texaco supplied various types of fuel to the U.S. Lighthouse Service that was delivered in wooded crates like this one that contained mineral oil. A box similar to this one that contained Texaco Kerosene was donated by Timothy Harrison from his personal collection to the former Museum of Lighthouse History and it is now on display at the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, Maine.
