George Sheridan was stationed here at the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse as the 3rd assistant keeper from 1896-1899. This structure was later disassembled and moved to become the Rawley Point Lighthouse in Wisconsin. The keeper’s house shown here was later moved to Frankfort, Michigan. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
