The Detroit River Lighthouse is about 28 miles from Detroit at the mouth of the Detroit River on Lake Erie. The Michigan lighthouse was first lighted in 1885 and it was automated in 1995. At one time the tower was painted all white. Back to the edition of: Jul/Aug 2015
