The Delta County Historical Society received $14,000 for a project to hire a contractor to paint the exterior of the Sand Point Lighthouse in Escanaba. In 2014 a replica of a Fresnel lens was placed in the tower. The lighthouse is not to be confused with the Sand Point Lighthouse in Baraga. Michigan. Back to the edition of: Jul/Aug 2015
