This aerial view of the restored Crisp Point Lighthouse shows the boulders that were installed to help stop the erosion. However, another $50,000 is needed to assure that waves from storms will not topple the lighthouse. The attached entry building was destroyed by erosion a couple of years ago and the erosion also nearly toppled the tower. It was only through the quick action of the newly formed (at that time) Crisp Point Light Historical Society that saved the lighthouse. They still need your help for one final project to make sure this lighthouse stands for the future generations.
