United States Senator Judd Gregg receiving a painting of the Isles of Shoals Lighthouse from the United States Coast Guard at the transfer of ownership ceremony in 1994 on the grounds of Fort Constitution, adjacent to the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse. At this ceremony, the State of New Hampshire took over ownership of the Isles of Shoals Lighthouse. Now they want to shirk the responsibility that comes with it.
