Iona Desmond, great, great, great granddaughter of Keeper Emerson, honors Eben and Wood Island Lighthouse in her artwork. Her sketches, pastels and painting abound and are enjoyed by many in the community.
Friends of Wood Island Lighthouse (FOWIL) will be hosting a PAINT In on July 11, 2004. Artists will be visiting Wood Island and the surrounding area to paint this historic lighthouse and beautiful Wood Island. Paintings will be auctioned off that evening.
