During the June open house at Owls Head Light, Friends of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse member Dave Scarlott presented an old oil painting of Owls Head Light Station to Mary Ellen Dilger. Dave's father was a doctor, and a patient once gave the painting to his father as barter instead of cash payment. Dave thought the best home for the painting would be at Owls Head Lighthouse. Mary Ellen Dilger plans to have it restored.
