Photo Caption:

Relief crew arrived. The off-duty lighthouse crew looks around their new home where they will stay during the next six to 10 weeks. The lighthouses on the coasts have been extinguished so they will not guide the enemy. However, searchlights and the complete illuminating apparatus have to be ready for use at any time in case a German ship or airplane requests guidance for a short time.
