Photo Caption:
This vintage image shows the main banking room of the Hibernia Bank and Trust Co. It was finished in Tavernelle marble and American walnut, and covers an area of half an acre. The 34 cages and three entrances are appropriately decorated in bronze. The subdued gold of the ceiling added the necessary warmth to the color scheme. Back to the edition of: Jan/Feb 2006
