Approaching the lighthouse from the southeast. The 90-foot boom that once lifted supplies and crew to the lower landing has been relocated to shore where it is undergoing restoration. The boom and many other artifacts from the lighthouse will be on display in a museum, which is being planned for the Crescent City harbor area.
