Glenn Desormeaux from the USS Stump was in charge of the volunteer work crew of sailors. Glenn originally hails from Louisiana and this was his firt experience at lighthouse restoration. He said crew members frequently participate in community volunter work. He went on to say that his most memorable experince came from their volunteer work at an orphanage in the Ukraine.
