*Photo Caption:*		Henri Menier (1853-1913) Menier was a businessman and adventurer and a member of the Menier Chocolate family. In 1895 Menier bought Anticosti Island, but after his death his brother sold the island to a paper company. The government of Quebec purchased the island in 1974. Back to the edition of: March 2007
