This photo was discovered by author J. Candace Clifford at the New York Public Library.
If you look closely, barely visible, a woman is standing at the door to the lighthouse.
On the back of the photo, someone wrote “Mrs. Mary Terry, Keeper,” indicating that
this is the only known photo of the Sand Point Lighthouse’s famous woman keeper. Courtesy of the Delta County Historical Society.
