The 1,000 foot American Integrity enters Minnesota’s Duluth Harbor passing beneath the historic Aerial Lift Bridge and near the Duluth Harbor South Breakwater Inner Harbor Lighthouse on its way to the Midwest Energy Terminal in Superior, Wisconsin to load coal. Amazingly the lighthouse was recently offered up for adoption, for free, to any government agency or nonprofit and no one wanted the historic beacon. So, the lighthouse was offered at auction and has been sold. Another part of lighthouse history now falls into private ownership.
