This lighthouse license plate belongs to lighthouse artist Bev Schreiber. Many of you might know her for her lighthouse bank checks or perhaps you have one of her wonderful prints hanging in your home or office. In case you haven’t guessed it, her Connecticut plate, featuring Old Saybrook Lighthouse, stands for Lighthouse Artist. You should note that her bumper sticker mentions Chester, which is where a replica of the lost Chester Lighthouse is to be built.

This story appeared in the November 2001 edition of Lighthouse Digest Magazine. The print edition contains more stories than our internet edition, and each story generally contains more photographs - often many more - in the print edition.
