One of the most picturesque on the northern Atlantic coast recently got a little closer to full restoration with an ownership transfer.

The Friends of the Head Harbour Light Station on Campobello Island, Canada received the deeds to the first two small islands leading to the lighthouse.

The Friends group also recently got more good news when they found out that the government will be replacing the steps which lead from the headland to the beach where at low tide visitors can climb to reach the next island and the bridge to the lighthouse.
