This vintage photograph of a lighthouse keeper and another man has recently come into our possession. As is true with a tremendous amount of our nations lighthouse history, there are no names written on the back of the photograph.
The only clue is that Adrian Tuttle, a professional photographer from Belfast, Maine, took the photograph. So, we would have to assume that the man in the keeper’s uniform is a Maine lighthouse keeper. The other gentleman could be a relative or someone of importance such as a lighthouse inspector or superintendent. If you can identify either of these men please email our editor at Editor@lhdigest.com.
