The show's anchors report live from homes across the country to feature what they call "super-collectors." Since Personal FX was broadcasting from Maine they thought it would be appropriate to feature lighthouses on their TV show. The producers called the Convention and Visitors' Bureau in Portland, Maine, and when they asked about lighthouses they were referred to Tim Harrison of Lighthouse Digest.

On the live show, which originated from Harrison's Wells, Maine home, Tim talked about such things as collecting Harbour Lights, and Spencer Collin replicas. However, the real highlights of the show centered on the collection of old memorabilia of the U.S. Lighthouse Service and antique lighthouse advertising.

Lighthouse Digest even got a plug when the show's anchor, Ayo Haynes, held up a copy of Lighthouse Digest and told the viewing audience that the magazine was the best place to learn about lighthouses.
