Ninth Annual Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival a success

Marv Theut, cofounder of the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival, held this past October in Alpena, Michigan, called the ninth annual event another success for lighthouse preservation.

"The festival continues to grow in size and depth every year and we had more lighthouse groups participating this year than ever before," said Theut. He went on to say that the most exciting part of this year's festival was the expansion of the "Next Generation of Lighthouse Keepers" which was consolidated into the main convention center.
