Dear Mr. Harrison,
I enjoyed reading the article about you in the
Maine Coastal News.
Your intent somewhat parallels with mine in respect that I am involved in the conservation and restoration of a painting by Franklin D. Brisco, a marine painter born in Baltimore in 1844 and died in Philadelphia in 1903.
Enclosed are two photographs of the painting dated 1882 which is 18” x 30” in size. I believe the work was done in Maine.
I have tried in the past to identify the lighthouse
but have been unsuccessful and somewhat given up on the effort.
The article in Maine Coastal News sparked yet another possibility that maybe you or your members might have the resources to place what is probably by now a lost structure.
Please pass on the enclosed as a contribution to
the American Lighthouse Foundation to help them in
their efforts.

Editor's Reply:
One thing is for sure it's not a Maine lighthouse. I've seen an image of this before, but the name of the lighthouse escapes me. Perhaps one of our readers can help identify the lighthouse and write to Mr. Sandecki.
