Since we announced our move to "Downeast" Maine in last month's issue we were amazed at the number of phone calls and mail we received from readers wishing us success at our new location. It was truly heartwarming to see so many letters of support and we can't thank you enough.
We are still busy unpacking boxes and it will probably take us a good deal of additional time before we are fully settled in but in no time we should be back to normal. We couldn't have done it without the loyal support of our many readers.
We are also thankful to you, our dedicated readers for the recent large number of new gift subscriptions and for the letters of support for the changes in the cost of a subscription.
We are sincerely trying to make a difference in saving and reporting the history of our lighthouses while also supplying you with the current lighthouse news from coast to coast and around the world, something that would not be possible without our solid base of readers, who continue to come through with their support. We also thank our advertisers who help to make it all possible and we encourage you to support the companies and organizations that put their advertising dollars into the pages of Lighthouse Digest.
Please keep those letters, emails, subscription renewals, gift subscriptions and news tips coming in to us, and please continue to support our advertisers. Together, we are making a difference in helping to save and preserve lighthouse history.
