New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, recently received a makeover with a fresh coat of paint. The lighthouse is sometimes referred to as “The Light of Many Colors,” because over the years its color scheme has changed a number of times.

The light station now boasts a wonderful museum and gift shop managed by dedicated volunteers and staff to greet the many people who visit and climb the tower. Photographs by Karen Carlomano.
