Jeff Shook, president of the nonprofit group, in calling this a new beginning for the lighthouses, hopes that at some point the south breakwater tower can be opened to the public but it will take approximately $250,000 to first restore the tower. Shook said he hopes that he will be able to form a partnership of sorts with some local groups to accomplish that goal.
