Larry’s Lighthouse is on the North Coast of Oregosn, in the small town of Manzanita.

My husband and I have a small 700 square foot cabin in Manzanita, and we badly needed some storage space. We are delighted with the “Tuff Shed” that we had installed. However, the wall of the shed that faced our backyard was badly in need of a mural, so we hired mural coordinator Joanne Olesiak to figure out what to do. Joanne contacted Larry Kangas, who has done several murals throughout the Pacific Northwest, to paint a mural on our storage shed.

Larry arrived with his paint truck, ideas to discuss, and quickly got to work on our mural. It was fascinating to watch the mural take shape, and I was amazed that Larry completed it in about 8 hours. We have installed a light in the top of the lighthouse, and it goes on every evening at dusk. All of our neighbors have stopped to tell us that they love the mural, and are delighted that Manzanita now has its own lighthouse.

Larry’s website is www.muralz.com.
