This past December, a small break in the clouds allowed for the sunlight to momentarily illuminate Ohio’s ice-covered Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse. Before the days of modernization this is something that from time to time the lighthouse keepers would have to contend with. Now, the lighthouse sits as a cold reminder of another era in time.
