The Wisconsin Point Lighthouse in Superior, Wisconsin has been declared as excess property by the Coast Guard and under the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act and is being offered for free by the General Services Administration to any qualified nonprofit or other government entity.

Established in 1913 the lighthouse located at the entrance to the Port of Superior on Lake Superior in Superior, Wisconsin is also known as the Superior Harbor Entry South Breakwater Lighthouse as well as the Superior South Entry Lighthouse and the Superior Entry Lighthouse. However, if no nonprofit or government entity apply for ownership the lighthouse will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder. It will be interesting to watch what develops with this lighthouse. To the right group or the right person the possibilities at Wisconsin Point are endless.
