The restored Port Clinton Lighthouse is still sitting in storage awaiting a hopeful new home near Water Works Park in Port Clinton, Ohio.

It seems that moving the lighthouse to a new location hit a roadblock with the officials of the City of Port Clinton. Apparently the City wants a clause in the agreement that gives them the right to move the lighthouse without cause should they find a better use for the land where the lighthouse will be displayed. However, the lighthouse group wants some assurance that the City will keep the lighthouse on display for future generations.
